Clarsach or Celtic Harp: a traditional musical instrument...

The clarsach, or celtic harp, is a traditional musical instrument which is equally striking playing a lively reel, an emotive Scottish air or accompanying a beautiful Gaelic song.

I began playing the clarsach at 'Feis Bharraigh' - a Gaelic music festival - on the Isle of Barra.  Later, whilst studying traditional music in Cork, I received the Sir James Caird Music Scholarship and a Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (Society of the Musicians of Ireland) Award.

I have performed at numerous events and festivals across Britain and Ireland, playing for Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, the Archbishop of Canterbury and performing at European and African cultural festivals.

Although based in Linlithgow, West Lothian, I can perform celtic harp music and songs in Gaelic or English at events and weddings throughout Scotland.  Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
